In this video I share how I went on a quest to find what would transform the 20th century ineffective leadership models. I also reveal some key features that today's leaders need to succeed in the current, modern and unforgiving business landscape!
My quest to connect consciousness into the business world
In 2005, I foresaw emergent cultural changes were going to force fundamental and drastic changes to traditional leadership models. That vision manifested in 2020.
That vision drove me to prepare for this shift by identifying and defining new leadership mindsets, models and methods that were in line with a higher level of leadership consciousness I knew as going to be demanded by new generation of worker.
To achieve my goal, I sold my brick-and-mortar company and started my current consulting firm to devote more time to studying the field of consciousness. I wanted to add a deeper understanding of Consciousness to my traditional business based leadership skills.
I literally spent thousands of hours passionately studing, writing, and creating as I struggled to bridge the two worlds I inhabited: business leadership and Consciousness. As I did, I wondered if the business world would embrace the wisdom of Consciousness. Initially, even I wondered if those two worlds played by different rules. Then I had the realization.
There is only one set of rules; that is the reigning rules of Consciousness.
So, while people in the business world may not naturally embrace the world of Consciousness. The truth is businesses are driven by Consciousness. At the micro-level it is the Consciousness of their people. On the mega-level it is the universal Consciousness that drives the world in which we all exist.
Everything operates under the rules of true Consciousness.
This is where we are now: at the nexus of business and consciousness. Those who recognize and embrace this reality and who educate themselves in the ways of Conscious Leadership will maximize their impact in the new world that is unfolding in front of our very eyes.

A personal journey of consciousness, energy and cancer
I have travelled many paths over many decades in my quest to gain greater understanding of Consciousness and the powerful role it plays all aspects of life, especially as it impacts leadership mindsets. Along the way I explored many eastern, western and Native American teachings. I also delved deeply into the study of ‘energy’.
Along the way I became a Reiki master and energy healer. In 2020 I met the most powerful teacher of Consciousness I have ever encountered and have been learning how Consciousness affects everything ever since.
I came to a powerful inflection point along my journey in 2016 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. As I lived through part of my journey, I found myself thrust into the most powerful learning experience on Consciousness, energy healing and personal growth I ever could have imagined.
One of the greatest lessons cancer taught me was to view the entire experience as a Master Class designed to teach me more about love, empathy and consciousness.
In this video I share some of those powerful lessons. Also, at the beginning of that eight month journey I got a very strong feeling that I was to record my experience. I wasn’t sure why, but I followed the nudge. The result is an intimate audio diary that was recorded in real time that I converted to a 31 episode podcast titled 'Stewards of the Light'.
My hope is that these two pieces can somehow be of service to anyone going through incredibly challenging times.
Awards and acknowledgements
My recently published book “Developing the Conscious Leadership Mindset for the 21st Century” won 2 international and 2 national Stevie awards for its ground-breaking approach. In this book I explain how, with the expansion of the consciousness of the leader and a deep understanding of the tribal dynamics of the workforce, we maximize personal and organizational performance.
In 2021 I got accepted into the Forbes Coaches Council. The selection is made by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of the persons' experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.
