Jeffrey builds companies and develops leaders
An award-winning serial entrepreneur and recognized leadership thought-leader, Jeffrey develops and teaches the modern leadership and organizational methods necessary for businesses to succeed in this highly competitive new economy.
He is the creator of the Bigger Know Principles of Leadership and is the author of the upcoming book entitled the Organizational Trinity, which reveals the three previously hidden organizational dynamics which drive all performance in all organizations.
He has over 35 years of experience founding, building and transitioning multi-million dollar businesses. He was also the co-founder of a 21st century think tank where he focused upon developing the next generation of leadership methods designed for the multi-generational workforce and has built several non-profits and civic organizations. For the past decade Jeffrey has helped scores of small and medium sized businesses, and their leaders to develop the strategies; build the teams and address the challenges necessary to get their organizations prepared to maximize their performance and profitability.
In addition to his business background, he is also a dedicated student of spirituality with a focus upon the Taoist and Eck teachings as well as Native American tribal cultures. He is a trained energy healer and Reiki practitioner and has studied the ancient martial art of Ninjutsu.
A background rooted in innovation and business building
Jeffrey began his career in 1974 during the explosive entrepreneurial phase of the cable television industry. After seven years as a lineman, tower worker, and field engineer, he founded an engineering and construction firm and grew it to having operations in four states within 5 years.
In 1987, he left that industry and became a pioneering entrepreneur in the emerging telecommunications industry. His company, SyNet Inc., became a premier telecommunication integration firm in New England for over two decades. During that time Jeffrey also gained national prominence as a leader in creating legislation and regulations that both defined and licensed contractors of the newly forming industry.
Unwavering commitment to leadership and business growth
In 2005 he reinvented himself again when he started Capability Accelerators and co-founded New Commons. New Commons was a 21st century think tank where he focused his attention upon developing the new leadership and organizational models that provide the foundation for the work he does through Capability Accelerators.
His experience and commitment to business and civic entrepreneurship has not gone unnoticed. Three governors have appointed Jeffrey to both create and serve on statewide boards and councils focused on economic, workforce, and entrepreneurial development initiatives.
Fulfillment of a lifelong mission
In 2016, Jeffrey was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. This experience was wholly transformative as it deepened his ability to experience life and reinforced his commitment to work to develop future generations of leaders.
To manifest that vision, he the founded Leading with A.I.R.* initiative and the annual Leading with AIR conference. This effort is dedicated to bringing like-minded professionals of all generations together to improve our ability, as existing and/or emergent leaders, to become communicators, collaborators and facilitators as leaders.
This initiative is focused upon engaging individuals at all levels of development who want to improve the quality and consciousness of leadership in all areas of society.
